New Workouts Are Here - And What a Start

Since being back at work, I've been busy behind the scenes polishing and refreshing all of our indoor group fitness class programmes, getting them ready to roll out over the coming weeks.

This week saw the launch of the refreshed Thursday Lift Lean / Pilates Fusion class, and what a corker it was!

New workouts are here

The session kicked off with 30 minutes of choreographed strength work using dumbbells, introducing plenty of new moves to challenge both mind and body.

As always, we followed this with some much-appreciated self-massage work using the spikey balls, helping to release tight muscles and improve mobility before transitioning into a flowing Pilates/Flex Fusion mat work section.

I've received some fantastic feedback from many of you, and I'm so pleased the new workout has been so well received. Although, judging by some of the comments and chatting to some of you in today's class, the DOMS has definitely kicked in, which isn't quite as popular! That said, it just goes to show the importance of keeping our workouts fresh and evolving. When our bodies become too comfortable, progress can slow, so it's important to keep challenging ourselves with new movements and training styles.

Of course, we can't forget the banging new playlist either! Did I do good or what? Ha ha! It was great to see everyone enjoying the fresh tunes while working hard throughout the session. The energy in the room was fantastic, and it's always rewarding to see so many of you enjoying the classes.

But we're not stopping there...

The next class to receive a refresh is Saturday's 20/20/20. Yep, my popular twist on the format, which includes:

• 20 minutes of standing mobility and flexibility work • 20 minutes of kettlebell training • 20 minutes of Pilates Fusion mat work

It's a fantastic combination designed to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, balance and overall fitness.

So get ready for next Saturday — I can't wait for you to try it! See you all in class next week.

Train together. Stronger bodies. Stronger minds.
