Introducing One-to-One technique training

Sometimes you don't need a whole personal training package — you just need an hour with someone who can watch what you're doing and help you get it right.
Quite a few of you have been asking for exactly that, so I'm excited to introduce my new One-to-One Technique Training sessions.
Not everyone wants regular personal training. Sometimes you simply want to spend an hour focusing on your technique, building confidence with equipment, asking questions and getting some individual feedback that isn't always possible in a group class.
And, as much as you all love me shouting about technique and form in class, it is a group environment! 😂 I give plenty of feedback, but I'm not going to stop the whole class every time I spot something that needs a little more attention.
That's where these sessions come in.
Introducing One-to-One Technique Training
I'm offering existing class members a 60-minute One-to-One Technique & Training Review — a focused session where the hour is all about you.
Perhaps you've been coming to classes for a while but would like to improve your squat technique or build your general strength. Maybe you want some extra help with that all-important kettlebell hip drive swing.
Perhaps there's an exercise you don't feel completely confident with, or a movement that just doesn't seem to feel quite right. Or maybe you simply have a list of questions you've been meaning to ask me!
Whatever it is, this is your opportunity to bring it along and we'll work through it together.
During your session, we can focus on things such as:
Improving your technique on specific exercises
Looking at your movement, positioning and control
Building confidence using equipment
Understanding regressions and progressions
Identifying areas where you could improve
Working on movements you find challenging
Exploring mobility or strength exercises that may help
Giving you practical tips and drills to take away and practise
And, of course, because I already know many of you from class, I'll probably have a pretty good idea of where we can start!
You may not think I'm watching... but I am! 😂
I see far more than you probably realise — how you move, where you may lack confidence, where your mobility might be limiting you, or why a particular exercise may not feel quite right.
That's also why I always offer modifications, regressions and progressions in class. Everybody moves differently and everybody's body is different. There really isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to exercise — and that's one of the things I love about being a personal trainer.
So, how is this different from Personal Training?
My usual personal training service is designed for people who are looking for ongoing support, structured progression and a longer-term approach to their training.
It begins with a consultation, including health screening, fitness assessments and postural and functional movement testing, followed by a minimum commitment of six personal training sessions. This allows me to properly get to know you, understand your goals, assess your starting point and create a structured approach to help you progress safely and effectively.
But I also appreciate that not everyone is looking for that level of support. Sometimes, you don't want a full PT package. You just want an hour of expert eyes on your technique.
The One-to-One Technique & Training Review is therefore a standalone session.
There's no commitment to a block of sessions. You can simply book your hour, focus on the areas you'd like help with and leave with a better understanding of your technique and some practical things to work on.
Of course, if you decide afterwards that you'd like more regular one-to-one support, we can always have that conversation.
This could be for you if you...
Would like more individual feedback
Feel unsure about your technique with certain exercises
Want to build confidence before progressing to more challenging movements
Would like to better understand how an exercise should feel and be performed
Have specific questions about exercises you regularly encounter in class
Want some help with mobility or strength
Simply want a focused hour of individual coaching without committing to an ongoing PT package
A Little Extra Support Can Make a Big Difference
Group training is a fantastic way to improve your fitness, get stronger and enjoy being part of a supportive environment. But one of the benefits of working one-to-one is that we can focus entirely on you.
We can slow things down, look at the finer details and spend time on the movements that you personally find challenging.
Sometimes it's a small adjustment.
Sometimes it's understanding why you're struggling with a movement.
Sometimes it's simply having someone watch you and say, “Yep, I can see what's happening — let's try it this way.”
Those little things can make a surprisingly big difference to your confidence and your training.
What's Included?
Your session will last 60 minutes and will be focused around the areas you'd most like help with.
There will still be an appropriate health screening beforehand to make sure the session is suitable for you, but this is different from my full personal training consultation and assessment process.
This is about getting straight to the good stuff — your technique, your questions and your training.
Interested?
If you're a regular class attendee and think this could be useful for you, I'd love to hear from you.
My usual hourly personal training rate is £40, but I'm offering these one-to-one Technique & Training Reviews to regular class members for just £35.
One focused hour. Individual coaching. Personal feedback. More confidence in your training.
And if you realise you want more...
If this session makes you think, “Actually, I'd really benefit from some proper one-to-one support,” I'm also offering a half-price consultation with a 6-session PT package. That means £255 instead of £285, with the package commencing in September.
So whether you simply want to fine-tune your technique, build a bit more confidence or take the next step with your training, there's now an option to suit you.
Get in touch if you'd like to find out more or book your One-to-One Technique Training session.
I can't wait to see what we can work on together! 💪
